The Role:

As an experienced Account Director on a significant Google Project, you'll champion "earned first" thinking, crafting and executing impactful, culturally relevant PR and creator activations. You'll play a pivotal role in leading a diverse portfolio of earned creator workshops, targeted mailers and seasonal parties. This role demands a strong focus on event organisation, adept talent management, and an understanding of the creator economy. Given the nature of the work, you must also be tech and AI savvy, identifying and leveraging cutting-edge opportunities for the brand.

You'll lead a team, build strong client relationships, and drive innovative strategies that generate buzz and deliver measurable results. This is a dynamic and energetic role, offering great opportunities to learn and develop within a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and collaborative work environment within the account management team, encouraging open communication and constructive feedback. You will manage relationships with third-party vendors, to ensure the agency delivers high-quality work that meets client expectations. You will also act as a liaison between the client and the agency's internal teams, providing clear communication and direction to ensure all parties are aligned on project goals and timelines. You can see opportunity in risk and you’re not afraid to be brave and challenge your clients to want to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspire & Lead: Mentor a team to develop and execute breakthrough, "earned first" PR & Creator activations and events.

Event Leadership: Lead and execute earned creator activations, including conceptualising, organising, and delivering memorable workshops, impactful mailers and seasonal parties.

Client Partnership: Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, understanding their business and anticipating their needs. Guide them across media, social and earned creator communications.

Creative Strategy: Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling narratives and assets that resonate with target audiences.

Data-Driven Optimisation: Monitor campaign performance, leveraging data and analytics to optimise results and demonstrate ROI.

Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends in earned media, creator marketing, events, AI, and technology, identifying new opportunities to enhance project effectiveness.

Budget Management: Manage client budgets effectively, ensuring campaigns and events are delivered on time and within budget.

Inclusivity: Champion inclusiveness, diversity, and equity in all aspects of work.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in consumer PR and earned creator strategies, with a proven track record of driving successful campaigns and events for major brands.

• Proven experience in successfully organising and executing a variety of events, including workshops, experiential activations, and large-scale parties, with a clear understanding of managing both paid and earned talent within an event structure.

• Demonstrable expertise in talent management, from negotiation and contracting to execution of deliverables.

• Tech-savvy with a keen interest and understanding of AI and emerging technologies.

• Share and use media and earned creator knowledge to guide clients on what you believe is the best for their brand.

• Deep understanding of consumer and creator behaviour and ability to develop creative strategies that resonate with target audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to think "earned first" and create campaigns and events that generate organic buzz and foster authentic creator engagement.
