About the Role

We're looking for a Biology Specialist AI Tutor to join our team as a subject matter expert, working at the intersection of frontier AI and life sciences. You'll play a critical role in crafting, evaluating, and stress-testing complex scientific prompts to help advance the capabilities of large language models.

What You'll Do

• Design and evaluate high-difficulty biology prompts that probe the limits of AI models

• Identify reasoning errors, weaknesses, and failure modes in model outputs

• Apply adversarial prompting techniques to surface gaps in model understanding

• Provide expert-level feedback on model responses across molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, and related subfields

• Collaborate with project leads to maintain high quality and consistency standards

What We're Looking For

• PhD in Biology or a closely related life sciences field

• Deep subject matter expertise — ability to work at PhD-level complexity across multiple relevant subdomains within Biology

• Prior experience with prompt engineering and stumping expert level models (max reasoning/tokens)

• Prior experience inducing/identifying reasoning related errors.

• Prior experience as an expert reviewer on AI data labeling projects

• Strong written communication and attention to detail

• Based out of the US, Canada, Mexico, UK, or Spain

Extra Credit

• Prior experience as a Senior Reviewer/Domain Lead on AI data labeling projects

• Teaching experience (professor, lecturer, or tutor in biology or related fields)

• Experience in technical writing, science communication, or professional scientific writing

• Multiple, high impact scientific publications in peer reviewed journals
