Associate Repair Technician repairs and tests mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Works from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and written or oral instructions to understand and perform repair and / or test activity. Ensures work meets established technical, product and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gains familiarity with Repair Technician practices and procedures.

• With guidance, performs routine Repair Technician duties, including: Identifying, isolating and correcting product malfunctions.

• Disassembling, cleaning and refurbishing assigned product components.

• Assisting with test performance, logging and reporting.

• Develops working knowledge of DN product lines and associated test diagnostics and procedures.

• Participates in regular product / repair / maintenance trainings (on-the-job, classroom and web-based).

• Learns and adheres to DN policies, Electrostatic Discharge sensitives and safety guidelines.

• Learns and gains understanding of operational manuals, equipment capabilities and manufacturer instructions.

• Gains understanding of blueprints, electrical schematics and diagrams and their use in diagnosing and troubleshooting abnormalities.
Assists with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent work experience required.

• Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Repair Technician.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
