We're developing breakthrough technology to power the world's future innovations as well. TI is committed to building a better future — from the responsible manufacturing of our semiconductors, to caring for our employees, to giving back inside our communities. Put your talent to work with us.
Our business has very high growth in TI and is in a segment where the market is fast growing. We're searching for applications engineer who have the passion and excitement to grow, innovative, take an active role in product definition, execute the characterization until ramp, and provide post ramp application support to customers.
We are looking for an experienced Audio Hardware and Acoustic Engineer to contribute to the design, testing, and optimization of audio hardware systems and acoustic solutions. The ideal candidate will work on developing and integrating audio hardware components, perform acoustic measurements and tuning, and support product development from concept to mass production. This role involves collaboration within a cross-functional team, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product designers across global sites.
This role is responsible for application support for high speed amplifiers. Key responsibilities include:
• Designing, evaluating, and characterizing audio hardware systems, including speakers, amplifiers, and digital audio interfaces.
• Conducting acoustic measurements and psychoacoustic evaluations in lab environments to validate performance and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Tuning audio algorithms and systems for optimal sound quality in various acoustic environments.
• Supporting hardware bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis of audio and acoustic issues in prototypes and production units.
• Working closely with software and algorithm teams to define requirements and optimize end-to-end audio performance.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including test reports, tuning guidelines, and design recommendations.
• Have Audio Acoustic PK among competitors on the customer side.
