Candidate will be leading and transforming enterprise‑wide infrastructure operations, observability, and command center functions to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance across hybrid environments. You will be accountable for driving a proactive, intelligence‑driven operations model leveraging AIOps, automation, and advanced analytics.

This role requires strong leadership across Monitoring, Observability, Command Center Operations, CMDB governance, and IT Service Management frameworks, ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Operations & Command Center

Observability & Monitoring Transformation

Define and implement enterprise observability strategy (metrics, logs, traces, user experience)
Drive adoption of AIOps and intelligent monitoring platforms to enable predictive insights and auto-remediation
Standardize monitoring across applications, infrastructure, cloud, network, and databases
Improve MTTR, service visibility, and end-user experience through integrated observability

Drive for real‑time monitoring, incident response, and service restoration
Drive operational excellence across Event, Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
Establish a proactive operations model focused on early detection, prevention, and rapid resolution

CMDB & Service Mapping

Ensure accuracy, completeness, and governance of CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
Drive service mapping across critical applications and infrastructure dependencies
Enable impact analysis, root cause identification, and risk mitigation through CMDB maturity

Governance, Risk & Compliance

Establish monitoring and operations governance frameworks aligned with ITIL, ISO, and regulatory standards
Ensure audit readiness (SOC, ISO, regulatory compliance) and adherence to policies
Define KPIs, SLAs, and operational dashboards for leadership visibility and accountability

Automation & Continuous Improvement

Drive automation across monitoring, alerting, and remediation workflows
Integrate observability with orchestration tools for self-healing capabilities
Continuously optimize processes, tooling, and resource utilization

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Cloud, Application, Network, Security, and Engineering teams to ensure service reliability
Provide executive reporting and insights on operational health, risks, and improvements

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure monitoring professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and efficiency of AI and log monitoring tools.

• Ensure the timely identification and resolution of infrastructure-related issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions.

• Collaborate with other departments to align monitoring efforts with business objectives and ensure a holistic approach to infrastructure management.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in infrastructure monitoring, incorporating best practices into our processes.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, promoting continuous improvement.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor the team's performance against these metrics, identifying areas for enhancement.

• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights on infrastructure operations.

• Oversee the implementation of new monitoring tools and technologies, ensuring a smooth transition and effective integration.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring.

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide a team of professionals.

• In-depth knowledge of AI and log monitoring tools, with a track record of successful implementation and management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving complex infrastructure issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Experience in developing and implementing monitoring strategies, with a focus on process optimization.

• Familiarity with industry-standard monitoring tools and technologies, and a willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements.

• A results-driven approach, with a track record of achieving and exceeding monitoring-related KPIs.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
