As a Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern, you'll support the EU Sales team from our Amsterdam office. Your work will directly impact the team's sales goals and help build a robust pipeline for future growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing startup turned scale-up, along with valuable mentorship from experienced professionals.

You'll work alongside Account Executives, other Business Development Representatives, Sales Operations Specialists, Pilot Success Specialists, and Partner Success Managers. This collaborative environment provides an excellent opportunity to learn the ins and outs of SaaS sales while contributing to our mission of improving higher education.

What you’ll do

BDR & Sales Operations Support (50% of your time)

• Help maintain and improve the BDR Notion workspace to keep information structured and accessible.

• Support onboarding material updates and help improve documentation quality.

• Assist with process documentation and internal workflow improvements.

• Support data and administrative tasks that help the team operate more efficiently.

• Help maintain best practices for sandbox and demo environments without replacing individual BDR ownership.

• Impact: You’ll help make the BDR team more organised, scalable, and efficient.

Business Development & Outreach Exposure (50% of your time)

• Go through full BDR onboarding and learn our commercial sales motion.

• Join prospecting, discovery, and customer conversations where possible.

• Support outreach activities, research, and list building.

• Assist with sandbox preparation and demo support under guidance from BDRs.

• Learn how to qualify leads and communicate value propositions in higher education technology.

• Impact: You’ll gain real hands-on exposure to SaaS outbound sales and customer conversations.

Learning & Commercial Development (Embedded in the Role)

• Build knowledge of the higher education technology landscape.

• Learn how sales, operations, and customer success work together in a SaaS environment.

• Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and commercial effectiveness.

What you bring

• You're currently enrolled as an HBO/Bachelor student for the duration of the internship

• You're based in the Netherlands and able to work from our Amsterdam office

• You're fluent in English (spoken and written)

• You're self-driven, highly motivated, and passionate about improving higher education with technology

• You're eager to learn the ins and outs of sales (past sales experience is a bonus, but not required)

• You're the first to follow up and love getting things done

• You seek constructive criticism and are direct and open with others

• You're passionate about making a positive impact on the world

• You're available to start the internship in September (or sooner) while aligning with internship cycles

• Internship compensation of €600 gross per month based on 40 hours per week, including a €50 lunch compensation
