Qualifications


Role: Chief Architect - SoC / platform

Key Responsibilities

Architecture vision and strategy

• Define and drive the long-term SoC and platform architecture roadmap across multiple product lines

• Align architecture strategy with business goals, market trends, and customer requirements

• Establish technology direction including compute, connectivity, security, and power architecture

Platform & Ecosystem Leadership

• Define scalable and reusable platform architectures enabling multiple product variants

• Drive IP reuse strategy and ecosystem partnerships (internal and external)

• Lead decisions on build vs buy vs partner for key technologies

Technical Governance & Decision Making

• Own architectural decisions across programs ensuring alignment with PPA, cost, and time-to-market goals

• Establish architecture review boards and governance processes

• Resolve complex cross-functional technical trade-offs

Cross-Functional & Executive Collaboration

• Partner with product management, business leaders, and customers to translate requirements into architecture strategy

• Collaborate with engineering, validation, and software leadership to ensure execution alignment

• Represent architecture in executive forums and customer discussions

Innovation & Future Readiness

• Identify and drive adoption of emerging technologies for competitive advantage

• Define next-generation architecture concepts and incubation initiatives

• Influence industry direction through standards and partnerships

Leadership & Capability Building

• Mentor senior architects and build high-performing architecture teams

• Define best practices, frameworks, and design methodologies

• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence

Qualifications

Experience

15+ years of experience in SoC architecture, IP design, or chip development

• Proven track record of successful chip tape-outs and silicon bring-up

• Experience defining and meeting PPA (Performance, Power, Area) targets for production chips
