Cloud Network Engineer

• Design, implement, and manage complex enterprise networks across Azure Cloud and on-premises environments.

• Configure and optimize Azure networking services such as Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.

• Manage hybrid connectivity, including site-to-site VPNs, ExpressRoute, and SD-WAN integrations.

• Develop and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN architectures, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Implementing network security best practices, including segmentation, threat protection, and monitoring.

• Automate and manage Azure networking deployments using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.

• Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and operations teams to support business-critical applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues in both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Possess extensive knowledge and experience on multiple platforms.

• Manage development and production network infrastructure using Azure and other Cloud and on-premises resources.

• Lead and contribute to solution designs and implementation routinely.

• Document network designs, standards, and procedures.

• Consider all aspects of a project or request such as hardware design, hardware limitations, performance, and other system constraints by working with technical teams.

• Proactively use good business judgment and communications to keep IS teams, management and business stakeholders informed regarding status, risks, obstacles, and other related information.

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are highly desirable

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and analyze system metrics to identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement. Implement optimization strategies to enhance system reliability and responsiveness.

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
