Back in April 2024, we were proud to announce the first-ever interplanetary funds transfers API. Since then, in partnership with NASA and JAXA, the interplanetary rail has been expanded to include Saturn and all of its major moons, Mercury, Uranus, and Neptune, as well as dwarf planets Pluto (and its largest moon Charon), Ceres, Eris, Haumea, Makemake, and Sedna. Truly, wherever the light of our sun touches, so too does Routable's API.

Greetings, friends! Spring is upon us at last, and here at Routable, we've decided to do a little spring cleaning in the API and add several small things Routable users have been asking for. We announced our first batch on Friday with our improvements to check Payables , and today, we're adding a few new list filters. After all, what better way to get organized than to make sure everything's easy to search for?

Routable's users pretty heavily lean toward bank transfer options like ACH and SWIFT, but that doesn't mean folks who need to send good old-fashioned checks in the mail don't need love, too! We've recently added a few goodies to make check Payables a bit more robust:

With the holidays right around the corner, we've been thinking a lot about deliveries. Santa needs to make sure every one of his gifts gets to its intended recipient on time - and so does your accounts payable team. Unfortunately, the nature of the banking industry means no system is foolproof; transfer errors do happen. Normally, this results in reaching out to our Support elves to find out what happened and to try and resolve the issue.

Hello, friends! Our changelog has been a little quiet lately, but don't worry - we've been hard at work adding a wide variety of small improvements across the API, from providing better information about international PaymentMethods to supporting pre-created Companies in your accounting software, searching Companiesby external_id, returning information about vendor risk checks in the Retrieve a Company call, and lots more.
