DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services to drive cloud migration, infrastructure automation, and application modernization. The ideal candidate should be proactive, client-focused, and capable of managing scalable, secure, and highly available systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including lift-and-shift, replatforming, and containerization on AWS

• Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and disaster-resilient infrastructure

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient build, test, and deployment processes

• Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system reliability

• Participate in incident management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to improve system performance

• Ensure implementation of security best practices across infrastructure and applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment efficiency and system performance

• Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (ECS/EKS)

Skills

• Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling)

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeBuild

• Experience in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (ECS/EKS)

• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, and Shell scripting

• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, and GitLab

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana

• Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet (good to have)

• Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC, Load Balancers, DNS, VPN, Security Groups, and NACLs

• Knowledge of cloud security practices, including IAM, secrets management, and SSL/TLS

• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix system administration
