Internships at Datadog
Business Internships
Datadog's Business arm is comprised of Sales, Finance, Legal, People, Recruiting, Marketing and Creative teams. As a business intern at Datadog, you'll apply to one of these departments to work for and learn how these teams drive success in customer acquisition, enhance our go-to-market efforts, strengthen us as a public company, and recruit, retain and develop our top talent.
Technical Internships
As a Datadog technical intern, you will walk away a better engineer, product manager, or product designer than you came in. All of our interns are given ample responsibility to enable their growth and impact. You will gain an authentic experience that emulates that of a full-time Datadog employee!

Datadog is a product built by engineers, for engineers, and it shows in our company culture. When I interned, I was shocked that I would be pushing a very small change to product within my first week as part of my onboarding process. Every engineer is responsible for the code they push out, and I respect that everyone takes accountability for and pride in their work. That's why we continue to launch so many cool features in our product!

I've been allowed to build the type of tools I would use in my every day work for a living. I get to build awesome tools for engineers and then get to use them myself to help develop the next cool tool. I love the culture of learning and moving fast, as well as the culture that allows us to enjoy time getting to know and having fun with our coworkers.
Capucine Martin
Software Engineering, Paris
Since the first day of my internship, I felt welcomed. The company culture is all about making you feel comfortable with your work, helping you grow and learn, and sharing with others. The challenges you get to solve for the company are unlimited. Within the logs-backend team, I can work on so many different topics on products that are used every day by customers around the world.

At Datadog, you're facing ambitious technical challenges, and you learn how to solve them through continuous mentorship from everyone. One of the most interesting things I've learned at Datadog is how to get multiple teams focused on building the best product for our users with simplicity and honesty.
Bonnie Flynn
Sales Development, Boston
During my Datadog internship, I met with global sales leaders, account executives, managers, and directors to discuss their career journeys and identify best practices for success. My internship was an invaluable experience, and I couldn’t imagine starting my career anywhere else! Now, as full-time sales development representative, I couldn't be happier to have continued building my career at Datadog.

Product Management, New York
My experience with Datadog has been intellectually provoking and a ton of fun. I'm learning something new every day, and I'm being pushed to grow by doing things outside of my comfort zone. I've really loved working with the people here—everyone is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and I have yet to meet someone who is unwilling to show me the ropes when I ask.

Right when I started as an intern, I was trusted to take on big projects, which allowed me to have an impact very quickly. I was able to learn new programming languages, as well as learn a lot about cloud providers. Working on the security of thousands of servers is not a situation we encounter everywhere, and it taught me a lot. What I worked on directly had impact on our product or our customers, and I was able to see my part in all of this.
Tori Watkis
Solutions Engineering, New York
The skills I learned from software engineering boot camp (like breaking down larger challenges and learning new technologies) have been helpful in my role because I am exposed to so many products within the Datadog platform, as well as customers with different environments.
