Texas Instruments is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for:
• Technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment
• Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits, logic systems, and packaging.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
• Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
• Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
• High School diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• 3 years of experience as Technician
Preferred qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly ramp on new tools and processes
• Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Strong time management skills
