We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Expense Auditor to join our team!

In this role, you will review and analyze expense reports, identify discrepancies, and help ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards. We are seeking someone who is curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to think critically and look beyond standard processes to spot potential issues and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review, audit, and validate employee expense reports for accuracy, compliance, and policy adherence

• Identify inconsistencies, unusual spending patterns, and potential fraud risks

• Apply critical thinking to investigate complex or non-routine expense scenarios

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards

• Collaborate with employees and management to resolve discrepancies and provide guidance on expense policies

• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost control

• Maintain accurate audit documentation and prepare detailed reports of findings

• Analyze expense trends and provide insights to support financial decision-making

• Assist in developing and updating expense policies and audit procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• At least 1 year of experience in auditing, accounting, or expense management; experience with Oracle Expense is an advantage

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to think creatively, challenge assumptions, and proactively identify issues

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
