Machine Operator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate DP grinding machines according to standard process parameters.

• Set up parts, fixtures, and grinding materials for production.

• Monitor thickness, flatness, and surface condition during grinding.

• Perform basic inspection and measurement to ensure parts meet specifications.

• Record production data and report any abnormalities or machine issues.

• Follow standard operating procedures, safety, and cleanliness requirements.

Education & Experience

• At least Senior High School or Technical/Vocational graduate.

• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or optics processes is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of machine operation and measurement tools is preferred.

Skills

• Ability to operate grinding machines and follow process instructions.

• Basic understanding of measurement tools such as micrometers or gauges.

• Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in a production environment.

• Requires standing for long periods and handling precision optical parts.

• Must follow safety, and contamination control procedures.

• 6-day work week, with possible Sunday overtime when shipment requirements are critical.
