The Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring high availability and reliability of production equipment through expert-level technical support. The role focuses on tool room management, manufacturing and regeneration of machine parts, advanced troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Keeping Maintenance tool room in 5s

• Utilizes tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Failure Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis as they apply to troubleshooting and failure prevention with equipment and its operational efficiency.

• Analyzes the Top Five equipment failures. Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.

• Coordination of the internal regeneration process in terms of parts availability, on-time delivery

• Ah-hoc Part’s manufacturing (milling, lathing, welding)

• Providing support to technicians in solving technical problems.

• Identifying technical skill gaps and proposing training needs to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Ensures that maintenance process is compliant from a Regulatory standpoint. This includes adherence to Safety and Quality policies and procedures.

• Responsible for personal safety and safety of others.

• Familiarity with Automation, PLC, Electrical and mechanical maintenance processes.

• Provide coverage and resource backup to fellow Technicians.

• Maintain and update the CMMS program and ensure proper utilization of system.

• Proper housekeeping of responsible areas.

• Perform any other projects or duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

• Minimum completed vocational education in technical professions such as electrician, fitter, electrical technician, or mechanic.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 8 years or above experience in Maintenance team

• In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, machinery, and equipment

• Experience with SAP and/or CMMS software.

• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodology is a plus.

LANGUAGES

• English – ability to read technical documentation and communicate with suppliers (preferred).

SKILLS /COMPETENCIES

• Have solid basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical theory and strong hands on ability on problem solving. Automated control technology like PLC & Pneumatics/ Hydraulic control system as a additional asset;

• Used to work under pressure

• Good Team work;

• Accept overtime tasks during new project or machine breakdown.

• Communicate effectively at all levels orally and in writing

• Strong execution, responsibility, self-learning ability on working

• Ability to complete the work arranged by the manager and supervisor on time, and feedback;

• Willing to study new knowledge and share troubleshooting experience;

• Practical knowledge of machinery safety standards and risk assessment, including EN 60204-1, EN ISO 12100, EN ISO 13857 and EN ISO 14120, applied during machine maintenance and modifications.

WORK ENVIRONMENT DEMANDS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Extensive use of computer and peripheral computer equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee will work on production machines using handheld tools or a computer.

WORK SCHEDULE / HOURS

• Work in shift pattern may be required depending on operational needs.

This range includes an estimated base salary, covering various levels of experience for the role.
Additionally, the position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to 10% of the annual base salary.

The final offer is determined based on the scope of the role, level of responsibility, experience, education, completed training, and key competencies of the candidate.
