Job Description
THIS ROLE
As a leadership role within Asset Owner Solutions, you will be responsible for managing a team of 10–20 fund accounting professionals while driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and service delivery. You will provide technical and operational leadership, oversee team performance, and ensure high-quality outputs aligned with client and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will manage stakeholder relationships, optimize resource allocation, and execute strategic initiatives, while guiding your team through performance management, process improvements, and adherence to policies and business plans under the direction of senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of fund accounting professionals, setting performance objectives, conducting reviews, and supporting career development and talent decisions
• Oversee service delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with SLAs, regulatory requirements, and client-specific governance standards
• Manage client relationships and act as escalation point for complex issues, leading discussions and resolving challenges with internal and external stakeholders
• Drive operational efficiency through resource planning, workload allocation, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement initiatives
• Execute strategic and operational priorities by implementing team initiatives, supporting change management, and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred, with at least 8 years of progressive experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or related fields, including 1–2 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in fund accounting processes, regulatory compliance, and risk management, with proven ability to review and approve complex financial reports and client deliverables
• Demonstrated experience in resource planning, capacity management, and leading operational initiatives such as client onboarding, system implementation, and process optimization
• Proven capability in driving operational excellence through performance monitoring, KPI management, process improvements, and effective handling of escalated client issues
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a results-driven mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to lead teams, drive collaboration, and align with organizational goals
