Role Summary:

To drives global syndication revenue by leading content licensing, format sales, and IP monetization across international markets. Owns portfolio strategy, pricing benchmarks, and high-value negotiations while unlocking new territories and platforms to maximize content lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

Revenue & Growth Leadership

Own and deliver budgeted revenues by driving global content licensing strategy, unlocking new markets, and develop high impact international partnerships.

Business Development

Define and execute a forward looking content portfolio strategy across genres and languages

-Maximizing lifetime value of both flagship GEC properties and long tail catalogue assets.

-Expand beyond licensing to scale format sales and IP monetization

Competitive Intelligence

Continuously track global media trends, competitive dynamics, and pricing benchmarks to accurately assess content value, inform forecasting, and sharpen commercial positioning.

Brand Salience

Strengthening JIPL’s storytelling equity across global markets through strategic PR, marketing, and sustained market engagement

Unlock the catalogue value

Monetise not just flagship GEC content but also assets across genres and languages in relevant markets

Price Benchmarking

Develop content valuations built on content value, competitive intensity, market benchmarks and demand dynamics.

Commercial Negotiations

Lead high value negotiations to optimize ROI, structure innovative deal models, and secure competitive valuations across territories.

Beyond Content Licensing

Pitch and Monetise Formats and IPs to extract maximum value from JIPL’s range of IP assets

Business Networking

Leverage presence in key markets to glean market insights and develop effective pitches for the territory

Focus on New Tech

Leverage emerging platforms and technologies and evolving business models to create localized formats, new revenue streams, and scalable monetization opportunities

Collaborate with Internal and External Customers

Partner seamlessly across internal and external stakeholders to align strategy, deepen market insight, and drive integrated growth outcomes.

Preferred Experience :

6 to 8 years of experience in consultative and/or B2B sales, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth through client and ecosystem partnerships. Strong understanding of media platforms, content distribution, and global market dynamics. Demonstrated negotiation and partnership-building skills in complex commercial environments. Familiarity with digital distribution platforms and evolving media industry trends.
