The Cards & Connected Commerce Finance team provides real-time insights to Cards & Connected Commerce leadership on Business Performance, Annual operating plans, Standard financial reporting & Bespoke analysis. The team is structured with dedicated CFO’s or CFO support teams, with each card product having its own on dedicated P&L and subsequent Balance sheet impacts. Team is adept translating business scenarios to actionable financial insights and is called upon to help on real time business decisioning on a variety of topics.
As an Analyst within the Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Marketing Expense Reporting Team, you will lead and coordinate the actual and budget reporting process for marketing expenses across different lines of business.
Job Responsibilities
• Ensure coordinating the Marketing Expense actuals and forecasting process for the different LOBs across CCB
• Develop, consolidate and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for different scenarios including budget, quarterly/monthly forecast variances
• Serve as a liaison between Firm-wide P&A, lines of business, Functional Finance teams and other support teams in order to provide impactful reporting, planning and insightful analyses
• Produce presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management; participate and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed
• Conduct "deep dive" analyses on key issues impacting client to determine root cause and propose solutions
• Collaborate with business partners across P&A, lines of business and the firm to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders: firm-wide, Functional Finance and lines of business teams
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Graduation in Finance & Accounting
• 3+ years of overall experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
• Self-starter who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment Sound judgment, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
