We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Lead to take ownership of our marketing strategy and execution in the high-growth SEA region (our focused countries: Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand). This is a critical leadership role in APAC region that requires a strategic mindset, deep local market expertise, and a proven track record in driving user acquisition and retention in competitive digital sectors.
Responsibilities
• Strategy Development: Formulate, own, and drive the comprehensive marketing strategy for Ride-hailing business in focused countries to achieve ambitious growth and brand objectives.
• Project Management & Execution: Lead and manage all marketing projects and campaigns within focused countries, ensuring timely and effective execution across all channels.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate a cross-functional team operating within a matrix structure, effectively aligning local marketing efforts with central business, product, and global marketing teams.
• Performance Marketing: Oversee and manage digital marketing and media planning efforts with a focus on maximizing ROI, optimizing spend, and delivering measurable results in user acquisition and retention.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities and refine the marketing mix.
• Budget Management: Manage the local marketing budgets efficiently, allocating resources strategically across different initiatives and channels.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for the SEA market, providing regular reports and updates to C-Level.
Qualifications
• Proven Leadership: Significant experience (5+ years) in a senior Marketing Management/Leadership role (Head of Marketing, Marketing Lead).
• Industry Background: Prior experience working in fast-paced, digital-first sectors such as E-commerce, Ride-Hailing, Fintech/Banking, or similar high-growth technology companies.
• Digital Marketing Mastery: Deep expertise in Digital Marketing.
• Media Planning: Strong knowledge and practical experience with Media Planning, including managing large-scale media budgets and agency relationships.
• User Lifecycle Management: Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies focused on User Acquisition and User Retention across the entire customer journey.
• Strategic & Analytical: Highly analytical with the ability to translate complex data into actionable marketing strategies and forecasts.
• Local Market Knowledge: Understanding of the SEA consumer landscape, media channels, and cultural nuances.
• Communication: Fluent in English and proficient in communicating complex ideas and presenting to senior stakeholders.
