We've partnered with a Sydney media agency that has been around for 25 years and still feels like a place where people actually enjoy coming to work. They plan and buy across the full media mix, from digital to out-of-home, for clients in financial services, health, not-for-profit, and consumer brands. Many of those clients have been with them for over a decade. The team is small, diverse, and genuinely close-knit, with offices in Manly and the CBD.

The role

You will sit within one of the agency's teams, working across a portfolio across digital and offline channels too. Day to day that means supporting campaign implementation and optimisation, managing weekly reporting, attending client WIPs, and following up on everything that comes out of them. The strategy and big QBR presentations sit above you, but you will be expected to show up prepared, present your work with confidence, and give a considered answer when a client asks you something directly.

Digital implementation experience is not a requirement. If you have been working in media planning, buying, or account management and have always been curious about the digital side, this is your chance to do both. You will learn the platforms on the job while bringing the media knowledge you already have.

What you'll do

• Support the implementation, optimisation, and reporting of digital campaigns across paid search, paid social, and programmatic platforms

• Assist with offline media activity including out-of-home, radio, and print, working with the broader team to make sure campaigns run smoothly across every channel

• Own the weekly reporting cycle for your clients: collating data, building decks, and presenting findings clearly in client WIPs

• Manage day-to-day client correspondence, following up promptly and keeping clients informed

• Bring a point of view to internal discussions and client conversations, sharing what is working, what is not, and what you would do about it

• Work alongside planners and senior team members to support broader campaign strategy

• Help guide junior coordinators on day-to-day tasks and set a standard for how the work gets done

• Get across new platforms as they come into the mix, with TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging digital channels all part of the picture

What you'll bring

• 1+ year of experience in a media agency

• An interest in how digital media works across paid search, paid social, and programmatic; you do not need to be an expert across all of them, but you need to be genuinely curious and ready to learn

• The ability to move quickly and accurately, particularly when client needs change at short notice

• Comfort in a client-facing environment: you do not need to have led every WIP, but you need to be willing to speak up, present your work, and hold your own in the room

• Strong attention to detail in reporting and a genuine interest in what the numbers are actually telling you

• A proactive attitude; someone who looks for the next thing to do rather than waiting to be told

Who this role is for

You want a role where you are actually doing things, not waiting in a queue to be given a task. You are curious about media, happy to get your hands dirty across channels you have not fully explored yet, and comfortable being in front of clients even when you are still finding your feet.

You do not need to have led a WIP or managed a client solo. What matters is that you are the kind of person who leans in, asks good questions, and backs themselves when it counts. The team here will support your growth, but they will also expect you to show up ready.

This role is not for you if:

• You want to specialise in one channel only and stay in that lane

• You prefer to stay behind the scenes and let others front client conversations

• You need a predictable workload where priorities rarely shift

• You are looking for a role where the strategy is handed to you and your job is just to execute

Why you'll love working here

• A genuinely hybrid role spanning digital and offline media, where you are encouraged to explore different areas and grow in the direction that interests you most

• Direct client contact from day one, where your input is heard and acted on rather than filtered through layers above you

• Two offices with two very different vibes: the Northern Beaches for the beach-town feel, the CBD for the days you want the city energy; both are genuinely part of how the team works

• Training from people who are ten to fifteen years ahead of you, plus vendor sessions, platform certifications, and industry training through the independent agency network

• A diverse team from all over the world and different backgrounds, where you can be yourself and that is genuinely welcomed

• Team events that actually get people excited: the team has climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, spent time in the Hunter Valley and the Blue Mountains, and gathers regularly for socials and lunches

• Fortnightly one-on-ones, twice-yearly performance reviews, and a team that notices when you do good work and rewards it
