About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive People Operations Associate who can also serve as an Office Manager/Coordinator. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of HR, employee experience, and office operations, with responsibility for supporting employees across both our New York and Austin locations. You’ll play a key role in shaping a cohesive, inclusive culture across offices while ensuring our workspace runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations (HR)
• Support the full employee lifecycle across New York and Austin: onboarding, offboarding, and transitions
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems (HRIS updates, documentation, compliance tracking)
• Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
• Drive employee engagement initiatives across offices
• Ensure compliance with federal, New York, and Texas employment laws and policies
• Support recruiting coordination (interview scheduling, candidate communication across time zones)
Office Management & Coordination
• Oversee daily operations of the New York office, ensuring a productive and welcoming environment
• Act as the primary point of contact for Austin employees’ operational needs, coordinating remotely with vendors and partners as needed
• Manage office vendors, supplies, and services (facilities, catering, etc.)
• Coordinate in-office and cross-office events, team gatherings, and company meetings
• Maintain office organisation and space planning
• Support health & safety compliance and workplace policies across both locations
Culture & Employee Experience
• Help foster a unified, inclusive culture across our workforce
• Plan and execute engagement activities that connect teams
• Act as a go-to resource for employee questions, ensuring consistent support regardless of location
We’re Looking For
• Experience in People Operations, HR, Office Management, or similar role
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms
• Knowledge of New York and Texas labor laws is a strong advantage
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating across different time zones and working in a fast paced environment
