This role is key to driving operational insights and supporting strategic decision-making through rigorous data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement. The Performance Measurement Analyst develops and maintains budgets, forecasts, dashboards, and variance analyses to track business health against goals and targets. Working closely with multiple departments, this position consolidates data, identifies trends, and provides actionable recommendations to empower leadership. The role also includes ad hoc analysis, project-based initiatives to improve reporting tools, and the creation of new metrics to enhance operational visibility. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Accountabilities:
• Develop, maintain, and report on budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational and financial performance.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Create dashboards, scorecards, and new metrics to monitor business performance and trends.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support senior leadership in strategic decision-making and operational planning.
• Prepare and present findings to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner, translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Lead projects focused on automating and improving measurement and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and insights.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to consolidate data and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of experience in finance, data analysis, budgeting, planning, or forecasting; supply chain or operations finance experience preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and modeling functions), PowerBI, SQL GUI, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to think both quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Experience in variance analysis, financial performance monitoring, and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to diverse audiences.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with ERP systems and operational performance analysis.
• Ability to connect financial outcomes to operational metrics.
• Ability to work in Eastern/Central time zones.
