The DDT Principal Solutions Architect is responsible for defining and driving the long-term architectural vision for DDT solutions at an organizational level, ensuring alignment across platforms, domains, and enterprise-wide initiatives.

This role acts as a recognized subject matter expert, shaping architectural strategy beyond individual teams and influencing how systems, data, and platforms evolve to support business, clinical, and product objectives at scale.

The Principal Architect drives cross-domain architectural consistency, establishes enterprise standards, and ensures that the DDT ecosystem evolves in a scalable, resilient, and future-proof manner.

Key Responsibilities


Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term architectural vision and strategy for DDT solutions across the organization, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology direction.

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for system architecture, influencing decisions across multiple domains, platforms, and leadership levels.

• Establish and govern enterprise-level architectural principles, standards, and best practices, ensuring consistency and scalability across teams.

• Lead cross-domain and cross-functional architectural initiatives, aligning engineering, product, ML, and business stakeholders.

• Drive strategic architectural decision-making, including evaluation of trade-offs, long-term investments, and technology direction.

• Influence and guide technical roadmaps at portfolio level, ensuring alignment with long-term business and platform strategy.

• Lead and facilitate architecture governance forums, including design authorities and executive-level reviews.

• Identify and mitigate systemic risks, architectural debt, and scalability challenges across the broader ecosystem.

• Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects, raising the architectural maturity of the organization.

• Represent the organization in external technical forums, industry discussions, or partnerships (if applicable).

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

15+ years of experience, including extensive experience in defining and driving architecture at organizational or enterprise level.

• Proven track record of acting as a recognized subject matter expert (SME) in system architecture.

• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across large, complex organizations.

• Experience defining enterprise-wide architectural standards, frameworks, and long-term technology strategies.

• Strong experience working across multiple domains (e.g., platform, data, ML, integrations) at scale.

• Ability to balance business, product, and technical priorities in strategic decision-making.

• Experience mentoring senior engineers and architects and shaping technical culture and capability.
