Job Description:
Client Ownership, Engagement & Delivery
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle CPQ (BigMachines), including contribution to multiple successful implementations
• Act as the brand ambassador and primary point of contact, owning customer relationships and overall engagement
• Lead communication across business and technical stakeholders, driving clarity, alignment, and confidence
• Operate as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying optimization opportunities, new features, and ROI-driven enhancements
• Own requirement discussions, solution shaping, and roadmap alignment based on customer needs
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to drive adoption, trust, and long-term partnership
• Independently manage multiple customer environments, ensuring continuity, responsiveness, and accountability
• Own the complete lifecycle: issue discovery, root cause analysis, solution design, timeline commitment, development, deployment, and production rollout
• Drive proactive improvements and enhancements aligned with customer objectives
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with structured RCA and clear communication to stakeholders
• Coordinate across internal teams and customer stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and faster resolution
• Manage parallel engagements across multiple customers while maintaining delivery quality and responsiveness
• Ensure adherence to best practices in code management, documentation, and governance
• Lead demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and status discussions with customers
2. Technical Expertise & CPQ Execution
• Deep hands-on expertise across Oracle CPQ modules: Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Workflow Approvals, Email Templates, Steps, and Layout Design
• Strong proficiency in BML scripting, including advanced logic building, performance optimization, and reusable component design
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex CPQ issues, with the ability to quickly isolate root causes across configuration, commerce, and integrations
• Expertise in BOM and System Configuration, including complex product structures, attribute-driven logic, and pricing dependencies
• Strong working knowledge of Asset-Based Ordering (ABO) including asset lifecycle, amendments, renewals, and upgrades
• Hands-on experience with Redwood UI, including component configuration, UI customization, and user experience optimization
• Proficiency in CPQ administration: environment setup, data table design and management, file manager usage, user and group configuration, parts creation, and migration strategies across environments
• Experience in code migration and release management, including version control practices and structured deployment planning
• Strong integration experience using SOAP and REST APIs, including inbound/outbound integrations, payload design, and error handling
• Familiarity with third-party system integrations such as CRM/ERP systems and middleware platforms
• Experience in raising and managing Oracle Service Requests (SRs), working closely with Oracle support to drive issues to resolution
• Ability to create scalable technical designs, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts aligned with business requirements
• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Strong documentation practices across design, development, and deployment phases to ensure knowledge continuity and governance
