• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 switching, IPv4/IPv6 routing.

• Proficiency in IP routing protocols: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP.

• Deep understanding of MPLS technologies (LDP, RSVP-TE, SR, SR-TE, SRv6).

• Expertise in Resiliency and Fast Reroute (FRR) techniques (IP FRR, RSVP-TE FRR, SR TiLFA, PIC).

• Hands-on experience with L2VPN, VPLS, VPWS, L3VPN, and EVPN service constructs.

• Solid understanding of QoS mechanisms and their application in networks.

• Experience with SDN and network automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with NETCONF/YANG, gRPC, and model-driven programmability.

• Exposure to Multicast and 5G transport solutions.

• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices for service provider environments.

• Participation in industry standards bodies (IETF, MEF, ONF) or contribution to open-source networking projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product design and development through reference network designs and feature requirement analysis.

• Prepare end-to-end solutions for critical customer deployments, including integration with partner products.

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert on product capabilities and network solutions.

• Apply telecom/networking standards and best practices to solution design.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Product Management, and Sales to translate customer requirements into robust solutions.

• Guide the Systems Engineering team in executing Proof of Concepts (POCs).

• Represent the organization in industry forums and standardization activities.

Qualifications

• Education: BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.

• Experience: 10–15 years in Service Provider networking solutions and architecture.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
