This role offers the opportunity to support global health initiatives by providing programmatic and operational oversight across multiple countries. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of projects focused on epidemic control, infectious disease detection, and health system strengthening. The position involves coordinating with country teams, technical experts, and leadership to ensure timely and compliant execution of project components. You will manage budgets, monitor sub-awardees, track progress, and synthesize data to inform decision-making. This role requires clear communication with diverse stakeholders, problem-solving skills, and a focus on delivering measurable impact. It provides a collaborative environment where your contributions directly support public health outcomes and global health security efforts.

Accountabilities:

• Coordinate specific components of health programs, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of activities.

• Prepare detailed reports, track progress, and synthesize information to inform leadership and stakeholders.

• Manage and support small teams or work groups to ensure collaboration and timely completion of tasks.

• Oversee compliance with project policies, monitor sub-awardees, and identify risks with mitigation strategies.

• Liaise with funders and subcontractors, support administrative and contracting processes, and maintain effective communication channels.

• Assist in programmatic administration including SharePoint management and onboarding of new staff.

• Participate in external events, provide presentations, and contribute to project design and research initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, international development, social sciences, or a related field. Project management certification preferred.

• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in program or project management, preferably in NGOs, government agencies, or private organizations.

• Experience supporting complex U.S. government-funded projects and international or domestic program implementation.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French is required.

• Ability to manage budgets, monitor sub-awardees, and optimize resource allocation.

• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, report preparation, and collaborative team coordination.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and virtual communication tools.
