Hiring for Quality Assurance Engineer
At Procol, we’re looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automation testing, with expertise in Playwright for UI automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration. You will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards before reaching our customers.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and developers, to understand requirements and ensure seamless product releases. You will contribute to building robust testing processes, improving automation coverage, and driving a strong culture of quality across the product development lifecycle.
What you will do
● Design and execute comprehensive test cases for web and mobile applications to ensure product quality and reliability.
● Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple product features.
● Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution.
● Develop and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright for cross-browser testing.
● Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
● Design and execute API tests for RESTful and GraphQL services, validating responses, data integrity, and error handling.
● Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for continuous testing.
● Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to improve testability and ensure high-quality releases.
● Perform visual regression and responsive testing to ensure a consistent user experience across devices and screen sizes.
● Analyze test results, generate reports, and continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and overall QA processes.
What would you bring to the table
● 2–4 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, testing web applications and APIs in fast-paced environments.
● Strong experience in UI test automation using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
● Solid understanding of REST API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
● Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
● Proficiency with Git-based version control systems and modern development workflows.
● Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
● Hands-on experience in both UI and API automation, with the ability to build and maintain reliable automated test suites.
