HP is looking for an Service Parts Repair Center Tech & Engineering Team Leader to join our Global Reverse and Repair team.

This role leads the technical, engineering, and quality domains across global Repair Centers, driving end-to-end excellence in repair processes, yield, and product reliability. It combines strong people leadership with deep technical ownership, translating business needs into engineering practices and ensuring effective execution through a team of domain experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary technical team (Jigs & Tools, Quality, Repairable List, NPI, Yield Improvement), fostering clear ownership, accountability, and professional growth.

• Execute the Repair Center engineering and quality strategy, translating organizational goals into clear priorities and measurable KPIs.

• Own end-to-end technical performance of repair operations, ensuring robust processes, high yield, and continuous quality improvement across global sites.

• Serve as the technical authority for Repair Centers, leading complex investigations (RCA, 8D, A3) on failures, low-yield components, and systemic issues.

• Drive the development and deployment of engineering infrastructure, including repair procedures, test methods, jigs and tools, and knowledge management systems.

• Lead cross-functional alignment with R&D, Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, and external suppliers to ensure effective implementation of NPI, ECOs, and engineering changes.

• Provide leadership in prioritization and escalation management, ensuring timely resolution of critical technical and operational challenges impacting customer experience and service P&L.

• Define and manage technical KPIs and performance targets, ensuring consistency in repair quality, calibration standards, and process control across global Repair Centers.

Education, Skills, And Experience

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent .

• 5-7 years of experience in engineering, technical services, or manufacturing/repair technologies in a global or multidisciplinary environment.

• 2-3 years of experience in a team leadership role .

• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Strong background in spare parts repair, refurbishment, or reverse engineering - advantage.

• Experience in the printing industry - advantage.

• Solid understanding of engineering and quality processes, including assemblies, testing tools, drawings, and BOMs.

• Experience with AI tools, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Strong organizational and methodological skills.

• Willingness to travel (~10%) to global repair centers and suppliers.
