We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our Test & Measurement and Telecommunications division. In this role, you will drive market development, manage strategic customer accounts, and lead the full sales cycle for high‑technology solutions used across industry, academia, and government. Drive the development of the Test & Measurement and Telecommunications market by identifying commercial opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and executing the full sales cycle from prospecting to post‑sales support. Ensure achievement of sales targets, strengthen customer relationships across private companies, universities, and public-sector clients, and represent the brand with technical excellence and commercial effectiveness.
Your tasks
• Develop the market and expand the presence of the company’s Test & Measurement and Telecom solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in technical environments.
• Maintain and grow assigned customer accounts while actively seeking new opportunities.
• Achieve sales goals, quotas, and market development targets.
• Keep accurate and up‑to‑date records of opportunities in C4C CRM.
• Lead customer account responsibility and ensure exceptional service.
• Participate in industry trade shows, technical events, and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Application Engineers for demos and technical support.
• Maintain continuous communication with the headquarters for technical training, product knowledge, and strategy alignment.
Your qualifications
• ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• 5 years of professional experience in commercial or sales engineering roles.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the instrumentation, telecommunications, or RF measurement industry.
• Proven track record in selling technical solutions to private sector customers and/or universities.
• Experience handling public procurement processes, tenders, and government contracts.
• Strong command of English (B2 or higher) – mandatory.
• German language skills – desirable.
• Experience using CRM systems, ideally C4C (Cloud for Customer).
• Valid passport and availability for travel (approx. 50%).
• Experience participating in technical demos, product presentations, and industry events.
DESIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
• Understanding of Test & Measurement and RF/telecom equipment.
• Ability to identify technical needs and match them with appropriate product solutions.
• Experience using quotation tools and generating technical-commercial proposals.
• Knowledge of industry applications in electronics, telecommunications, RF, and measurement environments.
SOFT SKILLS
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing abilities.
• Strong commercial drive and goal orientation.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with applications engineering, logistics, accounting, and service teams.
• Skillful prioritization and time management when handling multiple clients and projects.
• High autonomy, self‑motivation, and proactive problem‑solving.
• Adaptability to urgent customer requests (quotations, demos, site visits).
• Strategic thinking and resilience in competitive sales environments.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
