Senior Business Analyst

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior Business Analyst, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Discovery & Alignment: Lead workshops to gather and document business requirements for Sales Cloud and CPQ, focusing specifically on aligning stakeholders on complex product bundling, pricing rules, and discount logic

• CPQ Optimization: Address the current gap in CPQ requirements by auditing existing configurations and designing improved workflows for quote generation, contract amendments, and renewals

• System Integration Mapping: Define and document technical requirements for third-party tools integrated with Salesforce, ensuring data integrity across the ecosystem

• Agile Documentation: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of user stories, functional specifications, and process maps using Jira and Confluence

• Solution Design: Collaborate with Salesforce Developers and Architects to translate business needs into scalable technical designs, prioritizing "out-of-the-box" functionality where possible

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT cycles, including creating test scripts and managing defect remediation, to ensure delivered features meet business expectations

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and the IT development team, facilitating clear communication and managing project timelines

Requirements:

• Salesforce Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on Salesforce Sales Cloud and CRM architectures

• CPQ Specialist: Proven track record of implementing or optimizing Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), including deep knowledge of product catalogs and pricing engines

• Technical Tooling: Expert-level proficiency in Jira for task management and Confluence for maintaining robust documentation

• Integration Knowledge: Experience managing integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms (e.g., ERP, CLM, or Payment Gateways)

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to convert ambiguous business needs into structured, complex technical queries or logic flows

• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

Desirable:

• Certifications: Salesforce Certified Business Analyst or Salesforce CPQ Specialist preferred

• Agile Delivery: Experience working in fast-paced, Agile environments with a focus on continuous improvement and tight delivery timelines

• Process Improvement: Background in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies to help streamline sales operations
