Senior Delivery Manager

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be the driving force behind a cross-functional development team, bridging the gap between technical excellence and strategic product delivery. You will take full ownership of executing the Client's project Roadmap, delivering next-generation building decarbonization and operational energy management tools.

This role requires a rare blend of deep technical expertise specifically in .NET (C#) and JavaScript (React) and robust team leadership to guide a dedicated Agile team of 5 technical professionals based in Pune, India.

Responsibilities:

• Project & Product Delivery

• Roadmap Execution: Drive the technical execution and strategic delivery of the "Future Roadmap" for the Client's project

• Domain Alignment: Ensure all engineering outputs directly support the core mission: building cutting-edge tools that track Net-Zero project impacts, deliver investment-ready plans, and benchmark optimal building performance against real-world data

• Agile Governance: Foster a high-velocity, continuous delivery culture within the cross-functional team, ensuring sprints are well-planned and technical debt is actively managed

• Technical Leadership

• Architecture & Stack Oversight: Provide technical workflows and architecture decisions primarily centered around a modern .NET (C#) back-end and JavaScript (React) front-end stack

• Senior-Level Guidance: Act as a hands-on technical leader, establishing and maintaining rigorous standards for code quality, system scalability, and modern development best practices

• Team Management & Mentorship

• Direct Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a dedicated, cross-functional Agile team of 5 technical staff located in Pune, India

• Talent Cultivation: Foster an inclusive, collaborative engineering culture, conducting regular performance evaluations, code reviews, and career development alignment

Requirements:

• Core Technical & Leadership Criteria:

• Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a proven track record moving from a senior developer to an engineering leadership role

• Technology Stack Expertise: Deep, high-level technical knowledge of C# (.NET) and React (JavaScript) is mandatory. You must be comfortable engaging in deep architectural and code-level discussions

• Team Management: Proven experience successfully leading and managing specialized technical teams of at least 5–7 engineers

• Domain Knowledge & Preferred Attributes:

• Sustainability Tech (Highly Preferred): Prior experience or a strong conceptual understanding of building sustainability software or energy management systems

• Domain Familiarity: Familiarity with carbon accounting, energy benchmarking, tracking Net-Zero project impacts, or delivering investment-ready operational performance plans is highly advantageous and will accelerate your success in this role
