Senior Development Operations Engineer

This role focuses on building, automating, and maintaining enterprise-level cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines to accelerate software delivery across a wide range of applications and services. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment, partnering with development, QA, and operations teams to implement best practices in CI/CD, configuration management, and deployment automation. The position offers opportunities to influence architecture decisions, improve system reliability and scalability, and support high-availability SaaS platforms. You will drive automation, monitor performance, and help teams adopt DevOps practices that improve efficiency and speed to market. Accountabilities:

• Automate build, packaging, testing, and deployment processes for multiple applications and services in cloud environments.

• Maintain and enhance enterprise development tools and software configuration management practices.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and orchestration platforms to ensure reproducible, secure, and reliable deployments.

• Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and scale systems to meet increasing demand.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate new features and services efficiently.

• Apply DevOps best practices to improve scalability, reliability, and speed to market.

• Document processes, maintain environment profiles, and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

• Support Agile project workflows, coordinating across onshore and offshore teams to meet delivery objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• 5+ years of enterprise-level experience in DevOps, software configuration management, and deployment automation.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience deploying and monitoring cloud applications (Azure preferred, AWS also acceptable).

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and deployment orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Mesos, or Docker.

• Proficiency with configuration management tools (Chef, Ansible, Puppet) and collaborative version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).

• Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or similar languages to develop automation tools.

• Understanding of full-stack software development, including databases, services, REST APIs, and front-end components.

• Familiarity with Agile principles, cloud computing, virtualization technologies, and enterprise-level deployment practices.

• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and capability to work independently in a remote, matrixed environment.

• Ability to manage confidential information and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
