Senior Executive - Accounts Payable

Objective – Drive efficient accounts payable management, Validate & process employee
reimbursement claims, Review corporate credit card spends, Account expenses & invoices in
ERP and manage banking operations for the USA entity, ensuring strong controls, accurate
documentation, regulatory compliance, and timely processing
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-end invoice processing: validation, approvals, GRN matching, accounting and timely payments. Develop an expense tracker.
• Maintain vendor master, credit terms, and support AP ageing management.
• Validate and process employee reimbursements claims, by ensuring adherence to set travel policy and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Review and monitor corporate credit card spends, including reconciliation and collating documentation. Develop a credit card. card tracker and work closely with stakeholders such as procurement teams to analyze spend.
• Handle day-to-day banking activities including payment processing, fund transfers, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing for AP/Expenses related provisions, reconciliations and accruals.
• implement process improvements to the US travel reimbursement portal/policy.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies including audit requirements.
Documentation and Governance
• Maintain correct accounting records for banking and all procurement service-related expense /Reimbursement claims
• Work closely with auditors & Tax consultants for US compliance
• Strengthen control environment with preventive and detective controls
Skills & Competencies
• Well-versed in reimbursement & expense claims practices, ERP systems and reconciliation
• Strong Interpersonal ability to work along with US employees & stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, high ownership attitude
• Competency in MS Excel, online banking tools and major ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics 365
preferred)
Qualification
• Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or equivalent with progressive experience on Accounts Payable, Reimbursement / credit card transactions, banking activities, Travel related expenses management.
