Responsible for driving cost optimization by recommending rightsizing and cost-effective solutions. Collaborates across finance, IT, engineering, and business teams to support cost reduction efforts, ensure accurate cost allocation, and advise on initiatives that maximize cloud efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Member of the CCoE team
• Interacts with the Cloud Architect on regular basis.
• Adhere to the project management, security controls, procedures and frameworks.
• Provide help to other team members.
• Provide full information to the peers on work done and have full transparency in knowledge transfer processes
• Ensure management is fully notified of any risks, issues, project status and accomplishments
• Ensure that management is informed of any issues that are delaying the project or of any errors on timely and swiftly basis
• Provide daily updates to the line manager
• Ensure full compliance to the Cloud guidelines and procedures in place
• Develop cost optimization and recommend rightsizing.
• Collaborating on cost reduction initiatives
• Ensuring proper cost allocation
• Providing guidance for cost-effective solutions
• Bringing together finance, IT, engineering, and business teams to collaborate on optimizing cloud cost
Qualifications
• 5 – 8 years of experience with Azure Microsoft Cloud
• Working experience in Cloud Infrastructure (network, compute, storage, databases and kubernetes ) in Azure
• Understanding of Terraform & Azure DevOps
• Good Understanding of OS (Linux, Windows) Infrastructure
• Experience in Azure Administration
• Knowledge of PowerShell and Azure API's
• Problem m and Incident Management
• Impact and root cause analysis
• Recommend and implement best practices and solutions
• Adherence to standards and change management polices
• Audit, security and regulatory compliance knowledge
• Quickly resolve issues in a large-scale environment during technical snags
• Address performance issues
• Infrastructure and OS level diagnosis
• End to end connectivity diagnosis
• Make quick decisions during technical snags to avoid or reduce downtime.
• Review of documentation and applicable technical procedures.
• On-time delivery of support services in-line with the SLA.
• Ensure the solutioning decision always follows the principle of High Availability, Resiliency and Auto Recovery
