The opportunity
This role is ideal for a technical QA engineer who wants to move beyond traditional testing and take ownership of automation strategy, quality engineering, and delivery at scale.
You will work at the center of engineering, partnering with developers and DevOps teams to build robust automation frameworks, high-performing pipelines, and reliable test systems.

Responsibilities
What you will do
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs
• Develop automated test suites using modern tools such as Playwright, ensuring maintainability and reliability
• Apply structured test design approaches such as Page Object Model to create reusable test code
• Build and execute API tests covering functional, integration, and regression scenarios
• Contribute to API client layers using tools such as Refit or similar libraries
• Design and execute performance and load tests, contributing to overall performance validation strategies
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring consistent execution across environments
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve pipeline stability and efficiency
• Implement test reporting solutions to provide clear visibility into quality metrics and trends
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and support defect resolution with engineering teams
• Continuously improve automation coverage, execution time, and reliability
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews to other QA engineers
• Contribute to defining QA standards and best practices across teams
Qualifications
What you will bring
• Strong experience in test automation for web applications and APIs
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Playwright
• Solid understanding of test design patterns such as Page Object Model
• Experience with API testing, including REST services and data validation
• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as NBomber or similar
• Programming experience in languages such as C#, TypeScript, or similar
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Working knowledge of pipeline configuration, ideally using YAML
• Familiarity with test reporting tools such as Allure or Azure DevOps
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Nice to have
• Experience modernizing automation frameworks, for example moving from Selenium to Playwright
• Knowledge of advanced performance testing strategies and metrics
• Experience working in cloud-based or distributed environments
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum ways of working
