Change the world, love your job.
Texas Instruments’ new semiconductor fab (SMFAB) in Sherman, TX is a state-of-the-art 300mm facility that recently started production. As a PVD Equipment Engineer, you won’t just maintain tools—you’ll own them. From day one, you’ll drive performance, build reliability from the ground up, and play a key role in shaping how this factory operates as it ramps to full scale. This is a rare chance to influence systems, define best practices, and work with the latest technology in a highly collaborative, team-driven environment.
What you’ll do:
• Lead the selection and deployment of equipment aligned to cost, performance, and manufacturing goals
• Own the full lifecycle of your tools—from installation to upgrades to long-term optimization
• Turn OEM updates, technical insights, and safety guidance into real-world action
• Dive into performance data to spot trends, solve problems, and prevent future issues
• Build and execute strategies that maximize uptime and keep production running strong
• Partner closely with repair and process engineering teams to solve complex challenges
• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs that keep downtime to a minimum
If you’re excited by the idea of building something from the ground up, solving real problems at scale, and making a visible impact—this is your moment.
