About this role


You'll help us shape how we serve customers - working with experienced leaders to solve a problem most B2B companies haven't cracked yet.

Billing and revenue management is still broken for most B2B companies. At Zenskar, we fix that.

You'll be the voice of the customer: sitting across from CFOs and finance leaders, understanding how their business works, and making sure our team delivers real value. You'll work closely with our product, tech, and design teams, alongside leaders who've scaled this globally.

You won't be building or configuring. Your job is to make sure we always know what needs to be built and why - and that every customer succeeds.

What you will be doing:

• Run post-sales discovery with finance and RevOps stakeholders & map their billing models, rev rec requirements, and ERP setup.

• Produce solution design documents that the implementation team can actually execute against: requirements, data mapping, integration scope, known gaps.

• Own the handoff to the AM with no ambiguity, no surprises downstream.

• Be the finance SME on ASC 606, deferred revenue, multi-element arrangements, MRR/ARR reporting.

• Review integration designs across NetSuite, SAP, Tally, QuickBooks & flag risks before they become implementation problems.

• Act as the SME that AMs can pull in for complex post-live queries such as accounting compliance questions, ERP sync issues, policy edge cases.

• Train and enable the AM and implementation team on ERP concepts, accounting workflows, and product capabilities so they can handle more independently over time.

• Feed patterns from discovery and customer conversations back to product and engineering.

• Stay close to key accounts post-go-live & advise on billing changes, pricing transitions, and compliance questions as they scale.


Key qualifications

• 5–9 years in ERP implementation, financial transformation, finance consulting, or RevOps. ERP experience is a plus; financial transformation or process advisory backgrounds work equally well.

• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, deferred revenue.

• You've run discovery workshops before and can produce structured solution docs, not just slide decks.

• Clear communicator with a CFO and with an engineer, on the same day.

• CA / CPA / ICWA or MBA Finance is a plus, not a requirement. What matters is you can hold a credible conversation with a Controller.

• SaaS billing or order-to-cash domain experience is a meaningful advantage.

• Good to have familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and SQL to assess integration feasibility independently.

• Open to work in the US hours (til 3:30 AM IST)

• A sense of humor and the ability to not take yourself too seriously — we're building something hard, and that's more fun with people who can laugh at the chaos.


Compensation

• We have hit product-market fit and are seeing strong demand for our product. If you are an ambitious salesperson, you can make significant upside in commissions!
