Job Summary:

• Manage the collection, validation, and maintenance of regulatory information for globally sourced raw materials.

• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of compliance data across systems such as SAP EH&S, UL WERCS, and internal databases.

• Act as a key liaison between suppliers, sourcing, procurement, and internal compliance stakeholders.

• Support global product stewardship initiatives by maintaining high-quality, standardized regulatory datasets.

• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data quality, streamline processes, and strengthen supplier engagement.

Responsibilities


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate with global suppliers to obtain required regulatory documentation, including SDS, composition data, and compliance declarations.

• Validate and maintain regulatory compliance records within SAP EH&S, UL WERCS, and related systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Evaluate raw materials against applicable global regulations, such as REACH, RoHS, Proposition 65, Food Contact, Conflict Minerals, and Toy Safety requirements.

• Monitor supplier performance with respect to responsiveness, data quality, and turnaround times; escalate gaps or non-compliance to relevant stakeholders.

• Develop and manage a centralized repository to facilitate efficient global access to regulatory information.

• Support SDS approval processes, hazard classification, and dangerous goods evaluations, as required.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Sourcing, Procurement, and Product Stewardship, to address regulatory requirements.

• Generate insights, reports, and performance metrics to track compliance status and identify trends in supplier performance.

• Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate US and UK time zones.

• Other projects/duties as assigned or needed.

Qualifications


Education:

• Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Organic chemistry/ Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/Environmental Science/ or a relevant experience in the field. Completed

Note: Additional training or certification in Regulatory Affairs or Product Stewardship is advantageous. Familiarity with EH&S systems and compliance frameworks is preferred. Knowledge of SDS authoring or hazard communication standards would be beneficial.
