Texas Instruments is seeking a Systems Engineer (SEM). In this role, you will provide customers with complete semiconductor solutions, often in the form of a reference design. The SAE works closely with sales, marketing and application engineers to demonstrate to customers how existing products can be integrated efficiently within a system. As Systems Application Engineer you may provide technical expertise directly to large volume customers and/or may develop solutions to be used by the general market.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
• Minimum education (bachelor's degree in electrical engineering)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience on automotive BMS hardware and software development
Preferred qualifications:
• Understanding on automotive battery management systems (BMS) architecture
• Design experience on automotive BMS, both hardware and software
• Rich experience on semiconductors such as battery management ICs, MCU
• Familiar with automotive high voltage architecture, protection and power distribution
• Knowledgeable on AutoSAR and functional safety adds values
• Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
• Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
• Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
