About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Talent Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about connecting great people with meaningful opportunities. This role is a strategic position within our People & Culture team, responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle and serving as the first ambassador of the HOH employee experience. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our commitment to ensuring that 100% of our employees are thriving by attracting top talent, fostering a positive candidate experience, and supporting our growth initiatives. The position offers a primarily remote work environment, with the requirement to reside within approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of the Chicagoland area to support occasional in-person meetings, team collaboration, and company events.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a multi-department or multi-location environment
• Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with candidates and stakeholders at all levels
• High ownership mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments
• Genuine passion for people, culture, and building diverse, inclusive teams
• Basic knowledge of employment law and equitable hiring practices
• Comfortable utilizing data to measure recruiting effectiveness and implement continuous improvements
• Experience in a growing, family-owned, or multi-location business is a plus
Responsibilities
Your work will influence every aspect of HOH, from initial candidate engagement to onboarding new employees. Key responsibilities include:
• Own the Full Recruiting Lifecycle: Manage all open requisitions from sourcing to offer acceptance. Build proactive talent pipelines to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates. Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles. Coordinate interview processes and manage offers in collaboration with the HR Director.
• Be HOH's First Culture Ambassador: Represent HOH’s values and culture during candidate interactions. Assess for cultural fit alongside qualifications and communicate our thriving culture authentically. Partner with the Culture & Engagement Specialist to ensure culture is integrated into the hiring process.
• Bridge Recruiting to Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless transition from offer acceptance to onboarding. Share relevant candidate insights, ensure completion of pre-hire steps, and set a positive tone for Day 1 and beyond.
• Build and Champion HOH’s Employer Brand: Manage our presence on job boards, LinkedIn, and community networks. Continuously improve recruiting tools and ATS performance. Track key metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire. Stay informed on market trends and compensation benchmarks to keep HOH competitive.
• Partner with Leaders and Protect Process Integrity: Collaborate with hiring managers to set expectations, coach on inclusive interviewing practices, and ensure timely process adherence. Maintain thorough documentation and utilize data insights to refine hiring strategies.

• Competitive Compensation: Annual salary range of $65,000 to $80,000
