• Measurements, tags, fields

• Buckets (or databases in older versions)

• Retention policies

• Continuous queries / tasks

• Telegraf (data ingestion agent)

• Flux / InfluxQL (query languages)

• Deployment types:

• OSS vs Enterprise vs Cloud

• High-level architecture:

• ingestion → storage → query → visualization (Grafana, etc.)

Job description:

• Good knowledge of InfluxDB 3.0 Database Architecture.

• Installing, configuring InfluxDB using source code, RPM, one-click installation on-prem and Cloud Technologies.

• InfluxDB3.0 patch management.

• Strong experience in handling Database Logical and Physical Backups.

• Hands on experience on restoration techniques on InfluxDB3.0 and point in time recovery (PITR).

• Expertise in Applying database patches from lower version to higher version.

• Major and Minor upgrade of InfluxDB3.0 DB's on multiple platforms (dump/restore & upgrade).

• Implemented InfluxDB3.0 DR servers and InfluxDB load balancing using tool.

• Expertise in Streaming Replication (Including Cascading Replication).

• Configuring InfluxDB3.0 for connection pooling.

• Configuring InfluxDB3.0 for generating statistic report on the basis InfluxDB log file.

• Handling Database corruption issues.

• Have done InfluxDB3.0 Migration for multiple clients.

• Strong knowledge on InfluxDB3.0 configuration parameter for tuning the DB health.

• Managed Users and Tablespace on InfluxDB3.0 Servers.

• Configuring Heterogeneous DB connections between InfluxDB3.0 and others if any.

• Expertise in Shell scripts for performing Online Backup and maintenance activity.

• Strong experience in setting up InfluxDB3.0 Cluster.

• Strong experience in major and minor upgrade (InfluxDB3.0).

• Strong experience in Query Tuning and performance improvement.

• Tuning parameter group and configuring cluster for InfluxDB3.0.

• Configuring InfluxDB3.0 Logs to push to S3 Bucket.

• Experience on Reviewing performance Metrics and query tuning on InfluxDB3.0

• Configured Query Store and Analytics workspace on InfluxDB3.0.
