The position is responsible for providing Trade Finance Technical support to external/internal customers and to provide sufficient support to corporate/SME's & FI teams for product development/enhancements for structuring appropriate trade facilities, developing market appropriate product and services to ensure that clients utilize Mashreq Trade facilities and services effectively to maximize the banks earning in addition to attracting Trade customers/business to the bank

Responsibilities

• Provide and advice assistance to commercial customers related to Trade Finance transact ions (Import, Export and Guarantees) .

• Provide technical/specialist support in coordination with business and sales function

• Preparation of special pricing, Trade Quotes in response to client's request and Monitor transactional pricing to clients to ensure high profitability across trade products.

• Responsible for marketing the bank Corporate/SM E's services and providing inputs in respect to developments and enhancements of Trade Finance services and products.

• Structuring transactions on a case by case requirement

• Monitoring client facility usage and pushing for higher utilization from the clients

• Provide technical and best practice trade finance advice to business team.

• Liaise with operations team to ensure seamless deal execution and ongoing administration

• Analyze client behavior by reviewing customer transaction data, identifying customer

• product usage trends

• Acquisition/insourcing of new trade finance clients

• Structuring of Imports/Export & Guarantees deals

• Launch new trade hubs in branches and Help with Developing and implementing trade procedures and policies

• Exchange cross selling trade deals with Mashreq subsidiaries

• Training and organizing of workshops both for internal (corporates officers) and external (clients) stakeholders

• Active maintenance of existing clients

• Monitor and act according to the changes in CBE regulation, international Trade

• Regulations and Mashreq Regulations and pol ices

• Serve as product capabilities expert and technical trade product expert. Support the complex, specialized trade needs for large deals.

• Continuously bench mark solution set versus key competitors, and integrate best practices into the product road map/investment prioritization.

• Work closely with Corporate Banking, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk partners to drive profitable and responsible growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 Years with good experience to Trade Finance

• Works well as part of the team and maintains good relations with team members

• Is able to collaborate effectively with colleagues outside immediate team and department

• Display integrity, initiative and commitment through interactions with colleagues and clients

• Aware of personal development needs and works to gain the experiences and training necessary to progress professionally and remain current.
