Job Description:
As a Continuous Improvement Manager at Grip, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operations across our supply chain, with a focus on driving continuous improvement, enhancing customer satisfaction, and increasing operational profitability. You will monitor product flow, identify potential breakdowns, and lead ongoing process improvement initiatives to deliver goods to our customers more quickly and cost-effectively. By championing a culture of continuous improvement — measuring performance, surfacing root causes, and iterating on solutions — you will be crucial in actively ensuring smooth product flow, reliable operations, and consistently rising fulfillment standards.
Specific responsibilities:
• Continuously map and analyze the end-to-end supply chain, using structured improvement methodologies to surface bottlenecks, waste, and recurring sources of delay or disruption.
• Lead root-cause analysis on logistics issues as they arise, building durable countermeasures that prevent recurrence rather than one-time fixes — minimizing disruptions and protecting continuity of product availability.
• Design, pilot, and scale process improvements using a structured PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) approach, ensuring every change is measured, validated, and standardized before rollout.
• Establish and own KPIs across inventory control, transportation reliability, back orders, and fulfillment rates; build dashboards and feedback loops that make performance trends visible and drive data-informed improvement cycles.
• Partner with warehouse managers and cross-functional teams to coach frontline staff on continuous improvement practices, embedding a culture where every team member is empowered to surface and solve problems.
• Document standardized work, draft updated SOPs, and publish improvement case studies so gains are captured, repeatable, and transferable across facilities.
• Own the continuous improvement roadmap: maintain a prioritized backlog of initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in logistics or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of distribution and shipping methods.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and metrics effectively.
• Problem-solving abilities for quick, decisive action during supply chain disruptions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities creatively.
• Strong multitasking skills for efficiently managing multiple priorities.
