Borrelli Walsh, a Kroll Business, is a leading specialist restructuring, insolvency and forensic accounting firm with a dedicated team of over 140 professionals and staff across offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, India, United Kingdom, British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. Borrelli Walsh has been involved in some of the largest and most difficult corporate collapses and investigations in recent years.

Currently, we are seeking for a mature and organised individual with the following attributes to join our Hong Kong office as a Finance Manager in our Finance team. This role reports to a Finance Director on Hong Kong, PRC and Caribbean finance operations.

Key responsibilities:

Handle the accounting functions of the responsible offices including Billing and Collection, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cashflow and other ad-hoc duties as required

Preparation of timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant GAAP and the firms’ accounting / internal policy, with minimal supervision

Familiar with finance operations of professional firm and the relevant accounting treatment; capable to monitor the working capital independently

Working closely with other offices to ensure inter-company accounts are reconciled

Liaise with external auditors, tax advisor, bankers and company secretary

Assist on finance system migration project

Supervise a small team as assigned

Qualifications:

Degree holder in Accounting and Finance

CPA Qualified or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sizeable MNC professional firm of which 2 years in supervisory level

Ability to handle full sets of books and accounting operations

Knowledge of PRC tax and accounting regulations

Mature, willing to take on responsibility, detailed mind set, hard-working, organized, self-motivated and able to work under pressure in fast pace environment

Thrives on changes and continuous improvement

Proficient in MYOB, Microsoft Office and other ERP and e-billing systems

Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is an advantage

Experience with workflow reengineering and system change is preferred

Immediate available is an advantage
