Borrelli Walsh, a Kroll Business, is a leading specialist restructuring, insolvency and forensic accounting firm with a dedicated team of over 140 professionals and staff across offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, India, United Kingdom, British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. Borrelli Walsh has been involved in some of the largest and most difficult corporate collapses and investigations in recent years.

We are currently seeking an ambitious and qualified candidate with the following attributes to join our Shanghai’s office as a Senior Manager/ Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in law;

• PRC Bar qualification is an advantage;

• A minimum of 4 years’ working experience in conducting legal work and managing legal issues related to corporate, insolvency, restructuring and/or M&A, preferably gained within relevant legal institutions;

• Good business sense and commercial acumen;

• Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems;

• Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills; and

• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate solid experience of:

• Proposing and implementing legal solutions in respect of dispute investments and assets in a wide range of industries;

• Assisting offshore investors, companies, insolvency practitioners to undertake commercial and legal work and investigations into PRC enterprises and facilitate the necessary restructuring and/or refinancing;

• Establishing and implementing recovery and restructuring plans for onshore and offshore banks/ investors in relation to their non-performing loans/ assets;

• Drafting and revising detailed, complex legal reports and documents for Courts creditors, and other stakeholders;

• Managing and mentoring junior members of staff;

• Contributing to the development of best practice; and

• Establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients.
