Role Summary
The Consumer Products Licensing Intern, College, will support the Consumer Products team in the development and management of officially licensed products on behalf of OneTeam’s college athlete group licensing business. This internship provides hands-on experience in sports licensing, product approvals, and licensee management. The intern will assist with tracking product submissions, maintaining licensing systems, supporting royalty reporting processes, and helping coordinate product launch information for licensed consumer products such as trading cards, apparel, accessories, and collectibles.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Track and maintain licensee product submissions across all college product categories (apparel, trading cards, collectibles, accessories).

• Review and organize licensee product submissions and help communicate requested edits or changes to licensees.

• Assist with monitoring and organizing royalty submissions from licensees to ensure timely reporting.

• Help track licensee sales activity, royalty reports, and other key submission data for internal reporting.

• Support the tracking of product launches, promotions, and important licensing timelines.

• Assist in preparing product information materials to support product marketing and distribution.

• Provide administrative and project support to the Consumer Products Licensing team.

• Collaborate with internal teams including Finance and Business Operations on data tracking and reporting needs.

• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Preference for candidates in their final year of undergraduate or graduate study, or who have recently graduated (within ~12 months) in Sports Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides)

• Ability to quickly onboard to new systems (e.g., approval portals)

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment

• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn about group licensing

• Interest in sports, licensing, consumer products, athlete-driven businesses, athlete advocacy, and OneTeam’s mission

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $18-20 per hour

This position is classified as temporary, part-time, hourly, non-exempt, and thus eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws. Final hourly rate may be amended based on background and experience. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Working Conditions

This position operates primarily in a professional office or remote work environment. The internship typically requires a part-time commitment during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with scheduling flexibility based on academic commitments and team needs. The role involves regular use of standard office technology including computers, spreadsheets, email, and video conferencing platforms. Responsibilities include data entry, product tracking, and coordination with internal teams. Physical demands are typical of an office setting and include extended periods of sitting and computer use.
