Why Join DAZN?

Joining DAZN means becoming part of a global team that is transforming the way fans experience live sports. Whether it's on mobile, web, or living room devices, we’re building a platform that reaches millions.

The Junior Territory Planner is an entry-level operational role within the Territory Planning team, responsible for the execution of content planning and scheduling tasks across the DACH region. Reporting to the Senior Territory Planner, the role supports the management of all live and non-live events across a complex multi-territory, multi-language environment covering five countries, with a focus on non-live planning and operational scheduling.

The role requires strong attention to detail, a methodical approach to data management, and a willingness to learn. Accuracy is essential at all times — planning errors can result in rights breaches, subscriber frustration, and contractual penalties.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Non-Live Content Planning

Manage the non-live content planning by incorporating information from various internal and external sources. Operationally schedule non-live content in our planning tool What'sOn and ensure all relevant content reaches the right audiences at the right time, in compliance with rights agreements and contractual obligations.

2. Live Planning / Team Support

Support the team in live-event planning including preparing the monthly content plan, editorial content picking for the B2B platform and partner channels, and promo planning.

3. Linear Channel Planning

Identify content to exploit from our linear channel content portfolio. Track and manage short-notice programming changes ensuring all updates are accurately and promptly reflected in planning systems.

4. Cross-Functional Communication

Act as a communication link between local and central teams — including Editorial/Production, Rights, Central Planning, and operational teams in the UK and Munich — ensuring that non-live content planning and all metadata are up to date.

What You’ll Bring:

• 0–2 years of experience in content scheduling, programming operations, or a related field — ideally within sports media, streaming, or broadcast television. Internship or work placement experience is welcome, as well as career changers.

• Basic understanding of content rights and scheduling is advantageous.

• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for sports and sports broadcasting.

Technical Skills:

• Basic proficiency in content scheduling systems and CMS platforms, or a demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly.

• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office — particularly Excel.

• Attention to detail and data accuracy.

Soft Skills:

• Native or near-native German language proficiency is essential; good English language skills are equally required.

• Organised and methodical, with the ability to manage tasks reliably and meet deadlines.

• Eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced sports media environment.

• Team player who works well within a small, close-knit planning team.
