We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team and lead the Core Platform Extension department. With a strong background in backend development, you will guide a team of 7-8 engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and driving business outcomes. Your role is pivotal in defining and executing engineering strategies, fostering a culture of ownership, and partnering with various teams to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities
• Define and execute engineering strategies, aligning with organizational objectives.
• Ensure adherence to system architecture, design standards, and engineering best practices.
• Drive technical excellence, code quality, and platform scalability.
• Partner with Architecture and Product leadership to develop long-term technology roadmaps.
• Own delivery commitments, ensuring reliable release processes and high-quality deployments.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Senior Engineers.
• Build leadership pipelines and succession plans, fostering talent management.
• Establish engineering metrics and improve operational processes and automation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, Security, and Data.
• Act as a key stakeholder in enterprise initiatives, enabling collaboration.
Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership/management roles.
• Strong backend development experience in Dotnet and C#.
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams or managers.
• Experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade systems.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is preferred.
• Proficiency in C# DotNet, SQL, React, CI/CD, and automation frameworks is an asset.
• Exposure to data platforms, distributed systems, or AI platforms is advantageous.
• Experience leading transformation or modernization initiatives is desirable.
• A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to deep dive into complex issues.
