Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced, self-driven professional to join our project team being responsible for implementation of a Loyalty Platform. As a Solution Architect, you will be the key link between airline-specific application architecture and our airline-specific loyalty platform. You will:
- Translate business architecture into technical solutions tailored to airline needs.
- Identify gaps between platform capabilities and customer requirements.
- Define interface specifications and align with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Mentor developers and foster architectural thinking across the team.
- Drive solution topics with clarity, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Collaborate in a multicultural environment, including native Japanese colleagues and global teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in SaaS integration and interface definition.
- Solid understanding of Java, JEE, Spring, SpringBoot, REST, Hibernate, and AWS.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex solutions clearly.
- 10 years of work experience in the relevant field.
- You are a native level Japanese speaker and fluent in English, enabling seamless communication in international environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Domain knowledge in Loyalty, Airline, or Banking.
- Experience in mentoring and supporting developers toward architectural roles.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP integrations
