You will be responsible for strategically executing the end-to-end hiring, while ensuring superior candidate and Hiring Leader experience. You will execute the recruiting process to acquire the best talent with speed and quality. You will be a talent champion who can actively stay connected to a robust pipeline, maintain long-term relationships, and energetically promote the role and American Express as an strong employer brand. Here’s just some of what you’ll do in this role:

Responsibilities

• Lead and own screening, assessment, interview, and offer process activities for the regional/functional segment.

• Enact broader Talent Acquisition and Onboarding strategy to ensure delivery of qualified and diverse talent.

• Master operational excellence by using available technologies to improve efficiency and quality to deliver on the hiring plan.

• Recommend and drive improvements to the local sourcing strategy and pipeline by actively collaborating with the Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Manager.

• Work with Hiring Leader to achieve hiring volume and headcount goals at the best talent retention metrics, gather key input for candidate slates, and provide feedback on candidates and influences hiring decisions.

• Timely and accurately update and post jobs, manage requisitions, and disposition candidate.

• Conduct first round interview, intake meetings, interview debrief, and reviews assessments.

• Structure new offers, works with compensation team to determine appropriate package and negotiate offer.

• Continuously partner with employee relations, legal, recruitment operations and other centers of excellence within Colleague Experience Group.

• Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, providing details on the selection process and Hiring Leader feedback.

• Create events and handle colleague referrals.

• Keep abreast of new hiring practices and trends in the industry.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications

• Fully bilingual English C1

• Minimum 3 years of experience within recruitment activities such as: sourcing, screening, interviews, for massive hire roles, preferably bilingual roles.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and problem-solving skills.

• Segment and industry-specific knowledge.

• Ability to effectively maintain relationships.

• Ability to partner with ancillary groups supporting TA processes.

• Ability to make logical and data-based decisions in a complex environment.

• Ability to work in a high-volume environment, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize accordingly.

• Ability to influence at different levels of the organization.
